Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily operations by performing various tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of the workplace, from loading and unloading materials to organizing storage areas.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial records, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures to enhance financial integrity.
  • Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations, minimizing liabilities while maximizing available deductions.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support organizational planning and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for project evaluations and capital expenditures.
  • Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance data accessibility.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends and inform management of potential risks and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits by external parties, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily available for review.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, proactively adjusting practices to ensure compliance.
  • Support skilled workers by providing necessary tools and materials, ensuring they have what they need to complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work environment, which includes sweeping, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste to promote safety and hygiene.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines strictly to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for everyone on-site.
  • Participate in inventory management by regularly checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors to avoid disruptions in operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a proven track record of reliability and competence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential for a strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables for data analysis.
  • No specific nationality preference, fostering a diverse workplace culture that values various backgrounds.
  • Basic technical skills related to the use of tools and equipment commonly utilized in the industry.
  • Strong physical abilities, including the capacity to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods, which is essential for the role.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, highlighting adaptability and collaborative skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
