Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A company based in Dubai, specializing in the White Wood, Plywood & Construction Materials Trading industry, is seeking an Accounts & Back Office Executive to oversee the daily accounting functions and back-office administrative tasks.

The successful applicant should possess practical accounting experience in the UAE, excellent documentation skills, and the capability to assist with both financial record management and office coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Record daily accounting transactions and journal entries
  • Maintain invoices, payment documentation, and vendor statements
  • Monitor customer receivables and pursue outstanding payments
  • Assist with preparing and reporting financial statements
  • Ensure proper documentation for accounting and audits

Back Office & Administration:

  • Manage office documentation, filing systems, and record keeping
  • Conduct data entry and simple reporting tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • Assist management with administrative and operational duties
  • Keep digital and physical office records organized

Required Skills:

  • Understanding of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and accounting records
  • Skilled in MS Excel and basic accounting software
  • Excellent documentation, coordination, and organizational abilities
  • Capability to handle accounting and administrative duties

Working Hours:

  • 9:00 AM 6:00 PM

Desired Candidate Profile

B.Com Graduate or equivalent accounting qualification

At least 6 months of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory)

1.5+ years of overall accounting or back-office experience

Experience with accounts, documentation, and office coordination

Detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined
