Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, and statutory requirements; coordinate audits and liaise with auditors. Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts; analyze variances; provide data-driven insights to support business strategy and cost optimization. Taxation & Regulatory: Oversee corporate tax and VAT filings; ensure timely submission and regulatory compliance; stay updated on tax changes and implement accordingly. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage billing, collections, vendor payments, and credit control; improve processes to optimize working capital and cash conversion. Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, banking, and funding needs; manage relationships with banks and financial institutions; optimize liquidity and working capital usage. Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Strengthen internal controls, establish SOPs, enforce policy compliance, and drive ERP/MIS system efficiency. Team Leadership & Development: Supervise and mentor the accounts team; foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. Required Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory. Preferred Qualification: MBA in Finance. Experience: 7–10 years in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, MIS, MS Office, and accounting software. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and financial regulations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Leadership, decision-making, and team management expertise. High integrity and professional ethics. Preferred Industry Experience Mandatory: Accounting or Finance within commercial or service industries. Preferred: Rental or real estate industry experience. Language Proficiency Mandatory: English (spoken and written). Preferred: Arabic or Hindi (an advantage). Other Details Preferred Joining Date: Immediate / As soon as possible Workdays & Timing: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Benefits: As per UAE labor law
