Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring productivity and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee customer invoicing, payment posting, credit notes, and reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and drive efforts to reduce overdue balances and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Review and approve adjustments, write-offs, and payment arrangements.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend or approve credit limits in coordination with management.
- Handle escalated collection issues and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Prepare regular AR aging reports, cash flow projections, and collection performance updates.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Support audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA or equivalent is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel for reporting and analysis).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities
