Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure the authenticity and high standards of Arabic cuisine, presentation, and guest service.
  • Monitor compliance with food hygiene, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and excellence

Guest Experience

  • Provide a warm, professional, and memorable dining experience for guests.
  • Advise guests on food and beverage pairings, including suitable alcoholic options to complement Arabic dishes.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

Alcohol & Beverage Management

  • Ensure responsible service of alcohol according to local licensing laws and company policy.
  • Work with the bar team to develop beverage menus, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and mocktails suitable for Arabic dining.
  • Monitor alcohol inventory, costs, and supplier relationships.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and motivate restaurant staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Conduct daily briefings and provide ongoing training, particularly in service standards and alcohol service.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and culturally respectful working environment.

Financial Performance

  • Monitor and analyze restaurant performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and inventory (including alcohol and beverage stock).
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to maximize sales and customer engagement.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate reports on sales, costs, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol-related legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality assurance.

  • The work location is Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager, preferably in an Arabic or fine-dining concept.

  • Strong knowledge of Arabic cuisine and dining culture.

  • Solid understanding of alcoholic beverages, wine pairing, and responsible service (WSET certification or similar is an advantage).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
