Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist head chef in daily Chinese food preparation • Prepare vegetables, meats and seafood as per kitchen standards • Support wok cooking, frying and sauce preparation • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen area • Follow recipes, portion control and presentation guidelines • Ensure food quality, taste and consistency • Handle basic stock usage and kitchen supplies • Work efficiently during peak service hours • Follow food safety and company SOPs
Desired Candidate Profile
Basic knowledge of Chinese or Indo-Chinese cuisine • Prior experience as assistant cook or kitchen helper • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment • Good knife skills and food preparation knowledge • Physically fit and able to stand long hours • Team player with positive work attitude • Willingness to learn and follow instructions • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
