Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef / Main Cook in daily kitchen operations
Support in cleaning, cutting, marinating, and preparing seafood (fish, prawns, crabs, etc.)
Maintain proper hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Ensure kitchen equipment and workstations are clean and organized
Help in basic cooking tasks such as frying, grilling, and plating
Monitor stock levels and inform the chef about shortages
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly
Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
Support during peak hours to ensure timely service
Comply with UAE food safety regulations and kitchen policies
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen (preferably seafood)
Basic knowledge of seafood cleaning and preparation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
Team player with a positive and hardworking attitude
Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field
Good communication skills (basic English; Arabic is an advantage)
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
