Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial reporting function across a group of 14 companies, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of:

    • Monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

    • Consolidated group financial reports

    • Budget vs. Actual variance reports

    • Management reporting packs for CEO/CFO review

  • Ensure financial reports are issued by the 15th of each month, coordinating with accounting teams for all required inputs and adjustments.

  • Review and finalize general ledger (GL) balances including accruals, amortizations, reclassifications, and intercompany reconciliations.

  • Liaise with auditors (internal and external) during audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS).

  • Supervise and support the reporting team in resolving discrepancies, preparing schedules, and maintaining reporting calendars.

  • Coordinate with departments like Payables, Receivables, Treasury, and Revenue to obtain accurate cut-off data.

  • Ensure effective utilization and navigation of the Oracle ERP system for financial reporting and GL management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Mandatory)

  • Professional qualification such as CA / ACCA / CPA (Preferred)

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or reporting lead role

  • Experience with audit firms is preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group-level consolidation

  • Proven experience in monthly closing processes, financial reporting, and variance analysis

Technical Skills:

  • Oracle Financials (hands-on experience is mandatory)

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliation templates)

  • Familiarity with reporting automation tools or custom reporting modules within Oracle (advantageous)

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines

  • Team leadership and mentoring capabilities

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-company environment
