Roles & Responsibilities
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Manager Accounts Receivable to join the resort s Accounts Receivable team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Ensure proper accounts receivable records are maintained
- Responsible for related account analysis
- Participate in monthly preparation of financial statements
- Responsible for assuring all recurring payments are accrued for month-end closing
- Ensure all receivables and receipts are recorded accurately and on time
- Coordinate with other departments and handle their queries related to the Accounts Receivable department
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable employees
- Monitor daily and weekly A/R activity including aging, overdue accounts, unapplied cash, skips, disputes, and chargebacks, are issued or posted, ensuring accuracy, authorization, and compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and present periodic A/R performance reports, aging analysis, skip/dispute summaries, collection status, and KPI updates for the A/R Manager and/or Finance leadership.
- Assume duties when the manager is absent
- Ensure that the subordinates are well-mannered and groomed as per company standard at all times
- Promote a work environment where employees members feel valued, appreciated, involved, equally important and safe
- Attend regular briefings and scheduled inter-departmental meetings to ensure relevant information is shared
- Accept any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the department manager

Interact with department and company employees members, management and contractor representatives in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote employees spirit and ensure effective two-way and cross cultural communications
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance is required
- A minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting or accounts receivable. 2 years in supervisory level is required
- Knowledge in report writing and financial system applications
- Responsible, orderliness and carefulness are required
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good communication and supervisory skills are required
