Roles & Responsibilities

About The Role

Main responsibility of this role is to support the Employee Relations team with day to day administrative tasks and attend to colleagues and leadership s queries with regards to Employee Relations. It will also be required of the colleague to deal with conflict situations in the workplace, exit interviews and minor grievances under the general guidance of Employee Relations Managers and Director.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for answering general colleague/department queries and to provide assistance on minor queries
  • Manage the end to end administration process for employee relations related processes
  • Manage the scheduling of disciplinary enquiries, taking minutes, typing minutes and finalising administration tasks
  • Maintenance of employee data and personnel records
  • Generate reports and dashboards on weekly/monthly/yearly/quarterly basis
  • Conduct exit interviews - managing all surveys and report back to Leadership
  • Ensure that all Employee Relation forms are up to date well stocked and in compliance with ISO and legislation
  • Manage scheduling and planning of focus groups, taking minutes and updating the related documents. Scheduling feedback and follow up meetings
  • Manage and attend to minor grievances and feedback to Leadership
  • Maintain policy and procedure database/SOPs/trackers and other monitoring and feedback tools

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the below skills and qualities:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field
  • Strong administration skills with a great command of MS Office tools and ease in working with various centralized HR systems
  • at least 2 years of previous experience in a counseling role is a prerequisite
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective listening and diplomacy are essential
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations in a calm, fair and objective manner, staying emotionally strong during difficult conversations
  • Showing integrity while dealing with various disciplinary cases and ability to lead a discussion while keeping the focus of the conversation on the problem
  • Being open to constructive criticism and comfortable admitting mistakes
  • General understanding of UAE labor law
