Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager - Learning & Development plays a critical support role within the Learning & Development function, enabling the effective design, delivery, and execution of Aldar Education s learning strategy. The role focuses on digital learning enablement, content creation, and technology-driven learning solutions, supporting the Learning & Development team across Talent Hub, LMS/LXP administration, and programme delivery.

This role is ideal for a highly tech-savvy, creative, and digitally fluent professional who is passionate about learning innovation, multimedia content, and user experience in large-scale education environments.

Main Duties:

  • Provide operational and technical support in delivering organisation-wide L&D initiatives.
  • Support the administration, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of LMS, and LXP platforms, ensuring high user engagement and data integrity.
  • Act as a key point of contact for learning platform queries, troubleshooting, and user guidance across HQ and schools.
  • Assist in coordinating learning programmes, training calendars, workshops, and virtual sessions.
  • Maintain accurate learning records, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Specific Duties:

Digital Learning & Content Development

  • Design and develop digital learning assets, including:
  • E-learning modules
  • Infographics and visual learning aids
  • Short instructional and promotional videos
  • Slide decks, templates, and branded learning materials
  • Support video production activities such as scripting, filming, editing, captioning, and publishing learning content.
  • Ensure all learning content aligns with Aldar Education branding, values, and accessibility standards.
  • Upload, test, and maintain digital learning content within LMS/LXP environments.

Learning Technology & Innovation

  • Support the rollout and adoption of new learning technologies, AI-enabled tools, and digital platforms.
  • Assist with testing, piloting, and user feedback collection for new learning solutions, including psychometric tools, video assessments, and learning analytics features.
  • Track learning engagement metrics (completion rates, usage data, feedback scores) and prepare reports for stakeholders

Programme & Stakeholder Support

  • Support the delivery of key talent programmes (e.g. graduate programmes, teacher pathways, leadership development initiatives).
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (P&C, schools, ATA, vendors) to ensure smooth programme execution.
  • Support onboarding and induction learning content for new hires.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years experience in L&D, HR, digital learning, or a related role.
  • Practical experience supporting learning platforms, digital content, or multimedia learning solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a large organisation or multi-site environments is an advantage.

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:

  • Fluent English communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and experiment
  • High level of digital literacy with strong confidence in learning technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with LMS / LXP platforms.
  • Strong capability in graphic design tools.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Experience with video creation and editing tools.
  • Comfortable working with AI-enabled tools, analytics dashboards, and digital reporting.
  • Organizational ability, of self and others.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
