Job Description

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining establishment. Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Oversee the dining area, ensuring a welcoming ambiance and clean environment.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and manage their payroll and attendance records.
  • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality food service and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Assist in developing operational strategies to increase restaurant efficiency and profitability.
  • Organize promotional events and suggest menu items to boost sales.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation.
  • Monitor cash handling and financial transactions to prevent discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports on restaurant performance, staff, and sales for management review.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and staff interactions.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and management of dining operations.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
