Core Responsibilities

* Supervise the overall operations of spa, gym, and recreation facilities with a focus on guest satisfaction
* Plan gym activities, manage class schedules, and promote membership packages in collaboration with the marketing team
* Conduct departmental recruitment, training, appraisals, and team meetings
* Ensure all recreation areas are clean, properly stocked, and well-maintained in coordination with housekeeping
* Lead staff in delivering consistent and warm service while meeting revenue and membership targets
* Monitor and control departmental expenses, payroll, and inventory in line with budget
* Provide hands-on guest support, respond to feedback, and adjust service practices as needed
* Oversee guest event participation, safety compliance, and hygiene protocols
* Provide personal training guidance to members when required
* Maintain accurate member records and ensure timely collection of membership payments
* Coordinate with the finance team on monthly reports and performance tracking
* Prepare training schedules and keep departmental records up to date

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as an Assistant Spa Manager or similar leadership role in recreation or wellness
* Familiarity with spa and fitness facility operations and guest service protocols
* CPR and First Aid certification preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead a multicultural team and deliver training to ensure service excellence
* Skilled in managing revenue targets, member relations, and team productivity
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused
* Flexible with schedule including weekends and public holidays
