Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and test drives.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake checks, tire rotation, and fluid replacement.
- Repair or replace faulty vehicle parts (brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, electrical systems, etc.).
- Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, safety concerns, or potential issues.
- Follow work orders/job cards and update service records.
- Use specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals for repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and tools in good condition.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to supervisors or service advisors
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Auto Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
