Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly craft a diverse range of baked goods and confectioneries, from artisanal breads to exquisite pastries, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
  • Precisely measure and combine ingredients, following recipes meticulously while adapting to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer preferences.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofers, adhering to safety protocols and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to control costs and maintain freshness of ingredients.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a culinary degree or equivalent certification in baking and pastry arts, demonstrating a solid foundation in the craft.
  • Hold relevant certifications in food safety and handling, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen, showcasing practical expertise.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of various baking techniques, including bread making, pastry creation, and cake decorating.
