Roles & Responsibilities

  • Learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques, demonstrating a willingness to expand skills and contribute to the team's success.
  • Follow all food safety regulations and company policies, upholding high standards of hygiene and sanitation at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, tracking ingredient usage and notifying supervisors when supplies are low to prevent shortages.
  • Receive and store incoming ingredients and supplies, organizing them efficiently to maximize space and ensure easy access.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe environment.
  • Package and label baked goods, ensuring proper handling and presentation for sale or distribution, while adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Monitor baking processes, adjusting temperatures and times as needed to achieve desired results and prevent burning or under-baking.
  • Shape and form dough into various shapes and sizes, demonstrating precision and attention to detail to create visually appealing baked goods.
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens and mixers, following safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure proper functionality.
  • Assist in the preparation of dough and other ingredients, ensuring accurate measurements and adherence to recipes to maintain product consistency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, showing a basic level of education.
  • No prior work experience is required, indicating a beginner-friendly opportunity.
  • Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one, demonstrating a commitment to food safety.
