Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, or blasting to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
- Select appropriate paints, coatings, and materials based on project specifications and environmental conditions.
- Operate blasting equipment with precision to remove old paint, rust, or contaminants from surfaces efficiently.
- Apply paints and coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers, ensuring even coverage and adherence to safety standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or blasting is preferred.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial painting or blasting roles within relevant industries.
- Certifications in safety practices, such as OSHA or equivalent, are highly desirable for workplace compliance.
- Proven ability to operate various blasting and painting equipment, including airless spray systems and sandblasters.
