Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Drive the development and execution of short- and long-term business strategies to accelerate growth and ensure sustained profitability, in alignment with the Annual Business Plan. This role encompasses managing and optimizing the Division’s central distribution operations, overseeing the company’s retail division, identifying sales opportunities, strategically positioning products and services in target markets, and expanding the retail network across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities:
Distribution:
Research and identify new business opportunities, including markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services, as well as innovative ways to reach existing markets.
Manage the buying function through preparation and analysis of buying reports, supplier/vendor meetings, and ordering approved product
Ensure brand pricing strategies are properly implemented, using regional competition benchmarking and price tracking analysis.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to identify and develop product or positioning opportunities, executing them through new products or improvements to existing ones.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract terms into business operations.
Oversee the new venture process, liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure smooth execution from start to finish.
Negotiate trade terms with distributors/partners, including volume targets, rebates, and pricing adjustments.
Work closely with the supply chain team to allocate sales targets by month, geography, salesperson, brand, and packaging in line with the business plan.
Manage the existing sales pipeline while developing new business opportunities leveraging market knowledge and local networks.
Analyze sales and stock levels at the distribution level to maintain optimal inventory for uninterrupted business operations.
Implement measures to maintain healthy inventory and develop action plans for liquidation of aged stock.
Lead the operations team in conceptualizing, planning, and executing brand promotion cycles, including required collaterals.
Ensure flawless execution of planned BTL (below-the-line) and merchandising activities.
Anticipate risks and opportunities for key accounts.
Design and implement digital marketing strategies aligned with brand guidelines, managing all digital channels.
Manage trade marketing strategies, e-commerce platforms, and online sales, recommending measures to enhance brand awareness and boost sales.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Retail Division:
Oversee retail operations in the UAE, ensuring all outlets operate smoothly and efficiently.
Identify and propose potential business deals and retail opportunities by engaging with potential partners, managing the pipeline of new brands, and assessing integration with company strategies and operations.
Manage lease contracts, including renewals and terminations, optimizing terms to minimize costs and maximize organizational benefits.
Lead and manage the team, planning and implementing operational changes effectively.
Guide the operations team in conceptualizing, planning, and executing brand promotion cycles, including required collaterals.
Ensure flawless execution of planned BTL (below-the-line) and merchandising activities.
Support the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, delegating tasks to achieve strategic goals.
Conduct market visits, monitor retail performance, and report key metrics.
Plan and forecast promotions in alignment with the marketing plan.
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies in line with brand guidelines, managing all digital channels.
Desired Candidate Profile
Track record of success in developing & fostering key relationships & increasing sales, brand management, P&L management & knowledge of key financial indicators
IT knowledge skills including working in ERP or oracle systems will be an added advantage.
