Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Pursue sales leads
• Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas,
• trends, customers, and products.
• Arrange meetings with prospective clients and conduct regular field visits.
• Lead efforts to open new markets and increase market share in existing markets.
• Attend industry events to increase visibility in market and identify new opportunities.
• Monitor competitors by collecting market information on prices, new products, delivery schedules and promotion techniques.
• Submit reports pertaining to sales and marketing, and business development efforts to General Manager / Deputy General Manager.
• Familiarization with product types and high-level technical knowledge vis- -vis target industries and specific customer requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

At least 8 years of experience in the sales/business development function preferably in food industry.

Fluent in English and Arabic (reading/writing/speaking)

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
