Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Business Development Specialist / Business Development Manager – Kingdom of

Saudi Arabia

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Reporting To: Territory Manager

Languages Required: Arabic (Fluent – Read C Write) C English (Fluent – Read C Write)

Business Sector: Power Generation, Machinery C Construction Equipment

Mission

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth and

expanding market presence in Saudi Arabia. This role involves market research,

lead generation, and supporting our local distributor’s sales efforts to strengthen. The ideal candidate will bring valuable

experience and connections in KSA market with strong technical understanding of

engines, generator sets (gensets), and related industrial equipment, enabling effective

communication with customers and partners in technically demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation s Qualification

  • Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, events, and cold

calling.

  • Maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities and ensure timely follow-ups.

  1. Product Approvals s Registration

  • Manage product registrations with governmental bodies, consultants, and private entities.

  • Coordinate with manufacturers, distributors, and regional teams to complete approval

processes.

  1. Dealer Relationship Management

  • Support and collaborate with the local distributor in joint sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships to ensure alignment on growth objectives and service quality.

Market Research s Intelligence

  • Conduct detailed market studies to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.

  • Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.

  1. Reporting Documentation

  • Track and report sales activities, lead status, and pipeline progress.

  • Provide regular feedback on customer requirements and market developments to senior

management.

  1. Strategy Implementation

  • Assist in developing and executing business development strategies to achieve market

penetration and revenue growth.

  • Support initiatives that enhance brand visibility and dealer performance.

Skills s Qualifications


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 3–5 years in sales or business development within heavy

equipment, power generation, or related engineering industries.

  • Technical Knowledge:

o Strong understanding of engines, generator sets (gensets), and

mechanical/electrical systems.

o Ability to engage in technical discussions with customers, consultants, and

engineers.

  • Industry Expertise: Familiarity with Powergen, Machinery, and Construction

Equipment sectors.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic

and English.

  • Analytical Skills: Capability to conduct market research and analyze data to identify

leads and trends.

  • Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across regional

and functional teams.

  • Resilience: Ability to remain proactive, focused, and positive under challenges.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or

Industrial.)
