About the role Our Client is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager to strengthen our growth across Industrial Energy, Industrial Services, Industrial Rental and Industrial Automation. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities. You will build strong relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders, represent our client in the market, and contribute to the further strategic positioning of the company both locally and internationally. You will work closely with internal teams such as engineering, project management and purchasing, and report to the CCO or, depending on the business line, to the Business Line Manager. Requirements Your responsibilities As Business Development Manager, you will: Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new markets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, strategic partners and key stakeholders. Promote and sell the products and services of the Jeco Group. Translate market trends and customer needs into concrete commercial opportunities. Prepare and follow up on offers, commercial proposals and cooperation agreements. Negotiate with customers and support the closing of commercial agreements. Monitor competitor activity and market developments. Contribute to the commercial strategy and market positioning of Jeco Energies. Work closely with engineering, project management, purchasing and other internal departments. Support customer satisfaction and report customer feedback or complaints as part of the continuous improvement process. Actively contribute to the companyu2019s quality, safety and environmental standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Your profile We are looking for someone who combines strong commercial drive with technical understanding. You preferably have: A bacheloru2019s or masteru2019s degree in a technical or business-related field. Knowledge of electrical installations or a strong interest in technical industrial solutions. Experience in business development, sales, account management or a similar commercial role. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. The ability to identify opportunities, build trust and close deals. Good analytical skills and the ability to understand budgets, costs and commercial targets. Experience with contract management and customer agreements. A strategic mindset and the ability to turn market insights into commercial action. Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset, depending on the region. A valid category B driving licence. A VCA Basic certificate, or willingness to obtain one. Skills and competencies You are someone who: Communicates clearly and professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues. Works well with internal teams to respond to customer needs and deliver proposals on time. Thinks in terms of solutions, opportunities and long-term partnerships. Plans and organises your work efficiently to achieve results. Can present information in a clear and convincing way. Handles complex situations with professionalism and confidence. Represents the company in a customer-focused and professional manner. Takes responsibility for quality, safety and environmental awareness in your daily Tools and systems Experience with the following tools is an advantage: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint ERP systems, such as Business Central or Navision Salesforce Prime Time Phronesys
