Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and create custom cake decorations that reflect client specifications, ensuring attention to detail and artistry.
- Master various icing techniques, including buttercream, fondant, and royal icing, to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, offering creative suggestions while maintaining their preferences.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all cakes are completed and ready for delivery or pickup on schedule.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in culinary arts or pastry is a plus.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in cake decorating or a related role within a bakery or catering environment.
- Certification from a recognized culinary school or pastry program demonstrates commitment to the craft.
- Experience with special dietary needs, such as gluten-free or vegan cake options, is highly advantageous.
