Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate end-to-end cargo operations, ensuring seamless movement of goods from origin to destination and optimize routes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with airlines, shipping lines, and other vendors, securing favorable rates and service agreements, to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all cargo documentation, including airway bills, bills of lading, and customs declarations, ensuring compliance.
  • Proactively monitor cargo shipments, tracking their progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate disruptions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a strong academic foundation is crucial.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as FIATA or IATA, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • Exhibits a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience within the freight forwarding or cargo industry; seasoned professionals preferred.
  • Demonstrates expertise in air and sea freight operations, including customs regulations, documentation, and international shipping procedures.
