Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook assigned dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure correct portioning, presentation, and food quality at all times
- Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other equipment
- Organize and maintain workstation setup ahead of service
- Support the Chef with daily specials and leftover management
- Maintain detailed food logs and follow food safety procedures
- Assist in training new culinary staff and guiding junior team members
- Communicate effectively during busy service periods
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation of kitchen tools, equipment, and storage areas
- Lift, move, and handle kitchen items as required
Skills Set
- Culinary techniques and recipe execution
