Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Location: Located north of Jeddah on Saudi Arabia s Red Sea coast, Yanbu is known for its majestic beaches and enchanting offshore islands, with Al-Nawras Island considered one of the Kingdom s coastal gems. The destination is served by Prince Abdul Mohsin Bin Abdulaziz International Airport (YNB), located approximately 25 km away, offering regular domestic flights connecting Yanbu with major cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, ensuring convenient access while retaining a tranquil seaside setting.
ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the operation of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with company standards and recipes.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen team members within the section.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, support ordering, and ensure proper storage and waste control.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area at all times.
- Support the Head Chef/Sous Chef in maintaining operational efficiency and kitchen standards
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 4 years of kitchen experience, including experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to manage a section independently and work under pressure.
- Basic supervisory skills with the ability to support and guide junior team members.
- Good understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to operational needs and shift work.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
