Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble salads and cold dishes with attention to balance, texture, portioning, and presentation
Execute menu items consistently according to established recipes and standards
Contribute to the development and testing of new salad and cold dish recipes when required
Ensure daily mise en place for the cold kitchen section is completed on time and to standard
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times
Work efficiently during peak service periods while maintaining quality and speed
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a restaurant or professional kitchen
Strong knowledge of salad preparation, cold dishes, and basic kitchen operations
Ability to follow recipes accurately and respect portion control and presentation standards
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Physically able to stand for long periods and work under pressure
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
