Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expertly wash, chop, and prepare a variety of fresh vegetables and greens, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Create visually appealing salads by combining ingredients in innovative ways, focusing on taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Stay updated on seasonal produce availability to craft unique salads that resonate with current culinary trends.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of salads during peak service hours.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus for demonstrating foundational cooking skills.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ideally focusing on fresh or healthy cuisine.
  • A passion for healthy eating and knowledge of nutrition to better advise customers on their salad choices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining composure during busy service times.
