Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Bacjelors course in Culinary or other Food Related Courses (2 years related Vocational Courses are welcome to apply)
  • at least 3 years related working experience.
  • With Valid TESDA NC II in Cookery preferred. At least 3 years experience in the field of cooking, Familiar in creation and preparation of confectionery desserts, pastries, cookies etc.
  • Skills in baking of cakes pastry techniques, creativity and artistic ability, attention to detail to create visually and appealing desserts and can adapt fast faced environment. Updated with industry trends and techniques.
  • Skills in in food preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is essential. The ability to think quickly and effectively under pressure is crucial.

  • JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget.
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
  • Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently.
  • Preparing meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to set standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements.
  • Keeping the workstation and kitchen equipment clean, organized and sanitized.
  • Managing the kitchen inventory and ensuring supplies are fresh and of high quality.
  • Taking charge of kitchen opening, closing and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef
