Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:This role involves assisting travelers with check-in procedures, baggage handling, and ensuring compliance with airline regulations. The City Check-in Agent aims to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers by offering personalized assistance and resolving any issues promptly.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate check in procedures and formalities with assigned agent or loader in the corresponding sales shop as per adopted practice and in line with G9/IATA terms and conditions ensuring accurate check-in of customers and baggage as well as customer s satisfaction.Process /monitor visas applications and cancellations through Cozmo in line with the Air Arabia general policies and procedures. Take necessary action related to waver in case of delay.Conduct check-in procedures for passengers outside of the airport terminal, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Handle baggage check-in and ensure compliance with airline regulations and safety protocols.Provide personalized assistance to passengers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to check-in processes.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with passengers and addressing their needs.Adhere to security procedures and protocols to ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings.Performs other duties as required by the Supervisor/Head of Sales ShopsOperational excellence:Coordinate with airline staff and ground handling agents to facilitate smooth operations and timely departure of flights.Maintain the company properties such as publications, brochures, equipment, office, waiting area, etc. in a good condition keeping in mind the Air Arabia corporate image. Uphold customer service standards and contribute to a positive travel experience for passengers. Submit daily reports as per the agreed standard. Dimensions:Personal Qualities:Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Customer service-oriented attitude.Display a genuine passion for travel.Fluency in English & Arabic Language (Written & Verbal)Education:Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration/Commerce/Management.Specialization in Travel and Tourism is an advantage.IATA certificationExperience:2+ years of Airport experienceProficiency in Alt a DCS travel systems.
