Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute an effective relationship management plan for new and existing clients and agencies, driving revenue growth through consultative and strategic interactions.
Autonomously develop and close complex media sales opportunities, regularly selling through the C-Suite and key decision-makers across your designated industry.
Collaborate closely with cross regional/functional internal solutions teams to conceptualise, produce, and present market-leading proposal presentations.
Maintain deep, localized industry sector knowledge, keeping abreast of MENA-specific market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes.
Act as the primary owner on and trusted advisor, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction, campaign execution, and long-term retention.
Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement, maintaining meticulous records of all client interactions and deal stages in Salesforce.com.
Qualify opportunities by quickly grasping a client's complex business challenges and defining a clear vision for delivering strategic value using Dow Jones media solutions.Represent Dow Jones at industry events and conferences across the MENA region.
As Middle East team sales team has ambitions to grow, be able to serve as mentor and coach to junior sellers providing guidance and support the Client Director
Desired Candidate Profile
5+ years of experience in media client sales, with a significant preference for prior advertising sales, media, or consulting experience.
Proven experience and deep understanding of the Middle East media landscape is required.
Strong preference for candidates with prior experience engaging with clients and agencies in Dubai and the broader MENA region.
Bachelor's degree
Deep knowledge of the digital media market, including programmatic, custom content, video, and cross-platform solutions.
Superior negotiation and complex deal structuring skills are essential.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client service and drive revenue growth while managing multiple clients.
Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Google/Microsoft productivity applications.
Exceptional one-on-one and group presentation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the MENA region to meet with clients.
