 This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing guidance and support to nursing staff.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for critically ill pediatric patients.Monitor patient conditions and provide timely interventions.Perform necessary procedures (e.g., intubation, central line placement).Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans.Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric critical care.Contribute to the development and revision of policies and protocols for the PICU.Attend departmental meetings and participate in case reviews.Be available for on-call responsibilities during off-hours.QualificationsEducation: MBBS and Board certification in Pediatric or Pediatric Critical Care Medicine License: Valid UAE license or eligibility. ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of post-fellowship experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine.Proven experience in managing a wide range of critically ill pediatric patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.Hands-on experience with essential procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and other invasive techniques commonly performed in the PICUSkillsAbility to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
