Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The 18-bed Pediatric ICU sees patients newborn to 14. Primary conditions are:

  • congenital heart disease and pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery (there is a separate Pediatric CSICU)
  • liver or kidney transplant
  • hematology/oncology with complications
  • immunocompromised
  • acute metabolic disorders (e.g., MSUD)
  • surgical patients (e.g., major general, neuro, vascular)
  • ENT
  • endocrinology
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree
  • National Board Certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine from the United States, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Minimum five years of post-specialty certification experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Critical Care in the United States, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Academic appointment preferred
  • Research experience preferred
