Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Specialist to support contract administration and commercial coordination on a major airfield / airport development project.
The role focuses on assisting with contract documentation, correspondence, change management support, and compliance with contractual procedures in accordance with project and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in contract administration or commercial support roles on construction or infrastructure projects.
What You ll Be Doing:
- Support the administration of contracts in accordance with contract terms, conditions, and project procedures.
- Assist in preparing contract correspondence, notices, and contractual records.
- Support the tracking of variations, change orders, and contract deliverables.
- Maintain contract documentation, logs, and registers in line with project requirements.
- Assist in preparing basic contractual reports, summaries, and status updates.
- Support coordination with commercial, procurement, and project teams on contractual matters.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with contract procedures, approvals, and documentation requirements.
- Support coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on contract-related communications.
- Participate in contract reviews, meetings, and coordination sessions as required.
- Maintain records of contract correspondence, approvals, and submissions.
- Support document control related to contracts and commercial records.
- Assist in tracking key contract milestones and obligations.
What Required Skills You ll Bring:
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or similar roles on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of construction contracts and contract administration procedures.
- Good documentation, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with contract registers, logs, and reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to FIDIC or similar standard forms of contract.
- Experience on airport, airfield, or large infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with document control systems and commercial reporting processes.
