Cost Control Engineer JAZAL ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING LLC

Job Duties & Responsibilities: · Assist the Site Quantity Surveyor in the development of project budgets including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs, ensure alignment with project scope, timeline, and objectives. · Assist the Site Quantity Surveyor for preparation and Submission of Monthly Cost Reports (CVR) to management. · Generate regular cost reports with the actual cost according to actual progress for all discipline, providing insights into cost performance and trends. · Cost control and budget tracking of the project through ERP software. · Organize the Monthly Project CVR Review Meetings with Management & Site Team. · Collaborate with Planners / department heads to optimize Manpower resource utilization · Assist in procurement control, and cost reduction initiatives · Evaluate and improve continuously cost control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. · Monitor project expenses throughout the project lifecycle, identify variances and recommend and implement corrective actions as needed. · Prepare and analyze overall project financial forecasts, identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Project/Procurement/Finance departments and levels of the organization.
