The role of a Counter Sales Executive is pivotal in retail and customer-focused environments, where direct interaction with clients is the primary responsibility. As a Counter Sales Executive, you will serve as the face of the company, engaging directly with customers, understanding their needs, and providing them with the appropriate products and services. Success in this role demands impeccable customer service skills, a strong understanding of the products being sold, and the ability to close sales efficiently. You will work closely with other sales and support team members to ensure the customers have a seamless and satisfying purchasing experience. Moreover, you will also be responsible for inventory management, and cash handling, and ensuring that the sales counter is consistently clean, organized, and welcoming. With a focus on achieving sales targets, you should possess excellent communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously at the sales counter.
- Understand customers requirements and offer suitable products and alternatives.

- Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked sales counter area.
- Assist with product demonstrations and ensure customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to assist customer queries effectively.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to manage stock levels and orders effectively.
- Achieve sales targets set by the management on a regular basis through proactive sales techniques.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner to optimize satisfaction.
- Generate sales reports and submit them to management for review and strategy plans.
- Implement sales strategies in line with company objectives to expand customer base.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales or customer service in a retail environment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in using computerized sales and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet sales needs.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to handle diverse customer issues effectively.
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
