As a Data Analytics Manager, you will drive data and performance enablement across dnata Airport Operations UAE (dAO) by designing frameworks that translate operational, financial, and workforce data into actionable insights. You will champion a data-driven culture through robust governance, clear metrics, and scalable solutions that support smarter, faster decision-making. Leveraging advanced analytics and data science, you will uncover opportunities, influence strategic direction, and enhance operational outcomes. Working closely with enterprise data teams and analytics stakeholders, you will align efforts, maximise capabilities, and ensure accountability across all data assets. You will also lead the development of trusted, integrated data products while strengthening the organisation s analytical maturity by coaching teams, uplifting data literacy, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service to internal customers. Additionally, you will provide leadership to a team of data practitioners to ensure sustainable analytics adoption across the business.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the dAO Data Analytics team comprised 4 key functions Data Product, Business Engagement, Governance, and Data science.
  • Document and maintain the dnata data and analytics strategy and operating model, ensuring alignment and effective implementation across dAO.
  • Serve as the data steward for dAO by managing the central glossary, definitions, and standardised KPIs across markets and teams.
  • Manage dependencies across related programs and provide updates for corporate reporting requirements, including strategic data management initiatives.
  • Oversee daily data operations, workflows, and data management employees to ensure effective data integration, BI platform support, and solution implementation.
  • Drive continuous review of data insights to assess operational effectiveness, eliminate inefficiencies, and recommend innovative improvements.
  • Oversee the review, analysis, and reconciliation of data-generated reports, ensuring insights translate into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure published reports remain accurate, relevant, and supportive of day-of-operation visibility and decision-making.
  • Lead engagement with Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) and business stakeholders to define, prioritise, and enhance data capabilities.
  • Analyse stored data to develop and validate business requirements, identify strategic gaps, and deliver actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and advance data management and analytics capabilities, including the development of predictive and forecasting models to support informed decision-making.
  • Identify, scope, and deliver high-value use cases in collaboration with business leaders, including opportunities leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation.
Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements

  • Bachelor s degree with 8+ years experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Engineering, or Industrial fields within an airline, ground handling, or similar operational environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in a management role, leading cross-functional and virtual teams.
  • Proven experience building and leading data communities of practice and promoting data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficient in enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Snowflake).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
