Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of mise en place for the kitchen production
- To be able to prepare sandwiches & Platters during lunch time
- Familiar with kitchen hygiene practices and food safety
- Assist the Chef in Charge in the preparation of daily requisition
- Maintain Cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, equipment and storage areas
- Is able to read kitchen slips (orders)
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie-Hot Section.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and hygiene practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork skills
Job Locations: Cafe Des Lettres (inside the French embassy)
Working Schedule: 6 days per week - 9 hours shift (maximum till 7 pm)
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Demi Chef De Partie-Hot Section.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and hygiene practices.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
