Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Development Strategy & Execution
- Identify, initiate, and assess branding opportunities with owners, investors, developers, and local authorities.
- Review and analyze hotel conversion and new build opportunities for integration into Marriott s brand portfolio.
- Lead negotiations of management, franchise, and other agreements with owners and their representatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential owners, capital providers, partners, and local authorities.
- Represent Marriott at hospitality events and maintain a high industry profile in the region.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate internal development processes including site inspections, feasibility studies, valuations, and legal negotiations.
- Present opportunities for approval to Marriott s internal committees.
Support & Advisory
- Assist stakeholders in identifying financing sources for hotel acquisition or construction.
- Provide strategic input to enhance Marriott s growth in North Africa and EMEA.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- University degree in Real Estate, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or similar (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience in real estate or hotel industries, in hotel advisory/development.
- Experience with franchised and managed hotel transactions in the Middle East.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of the Middle East & North Africa region.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resources efficiently.
- Energetic, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work flexibly.
- Professional demeanor with confident, independent judgment.
