Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and execute local marketing plans, including advertising, promotions, sponsorships, market research, etc., ensuring all initiatives are both locally relevant and in alignment with country, regional and cross functional priorities

Build and execute consumer, customer and merchant activities/promotions in the areas of card issuance; cardholder activation, usage and loyalty programs

Application and customization of marketing assets (consumer intelligence, brand, sponsorships and partnerships) to develop valued and differentiating programs

Collecting and analyzing market data as well as conducting specific market researches in order to put forward an insight led activities proposals for Mastercard and its customers

Develop metrics and specifications to track campaigns & activity program performance, measure program performance, and make recommendations based on results

Work closely with creative, media, digital, activation & research agencies. This includes briefing, development & securing all necessary approvals of all projects.

Supervises UAE & Oman marketing team, ensures compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal processes, identifies and coaches top talent within own team

Manage UAE & Oman marketing budget including preparing monthly and annual budget forecasts; set control procedures; ensure full compliance with Mastercard rules & policies

Builds strong relationships with key issuers to ensure amplification of market-wide campaigns and ideation for bespoke campaigns that help drive the business agenda; including unlocking marketing funds available within customer CBAs for Priceless activations and other relevant initiatives.

Supports in the delivery of cluster customer events of various sizes

Skills and Experience

Demonstrated success in building integrated marketing plans that leveraged synergies between marketing channels

Demonstrated ability in establishing collaborative relationships with partners, agencies and cross functional counterparts and representing the voice of the local market

Extensive experience and demonstrated success in consumer marketing, with additional experience in B2B, B2B2C and/or sponsorship Marketing

Experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating marketing teams

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to navigate a matrixed organization with multiple internal stakeholder groups.

Excellent presentation capabilities and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Self-starter with high energy, motivation, and resilience.

Team player with strong achievement and results orientation.

The position is based out of UAE office.
