Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key players in the payments ecosystem, including processors, gateways, and fintech companies, to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for complex payment solutions, from initial prospecting and needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure, consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies, to capitalize on emerging opportunities and trends in the payments landscape.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, target segments, and product enhancements that align with the company's strategic objectives and customer needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales within the payments industry, showcasing a proven track record of success.
Deep understanding of payment processing, acquiring, issuing, and related technologies, indicating specialized knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, highlighting exceptional interpersonal skills.
