Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Department Definition:
The Department provides operational and administrative support services to the School Operations Sector, including the provision of material, service, and technological requirements for schools, as well as the management of assets and warehouses in accordance with approved policies. It also oversees the maintenance of educational facilities and ensures the implementation of environmental, health, and safety standards, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and the provision of a safe and sustainable learning environment.
Main Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and develop support services for the School Operations Sector to ensure the provision of material, service, and technological requirements for schools in line with approved operational needs.
- Oversee the management of the petty cash fund and ensure its utilization in accordance with approved financial policies and procedures to cover the daily operational expenses of the sector and schools.
- Supervise the collection of student registration fees in public schools and ensure the accuracy of financial procedures and documentation in accordance with approved regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of the annual asset inventory and management plan for schools, ensuring proper classification and management in line with the Ministry s policies and standards.
- Oversee the management of sector warehouses and storage facilities, ensuring efficient storage operations and inventory management in accordance with approved operational frameworks and procedures.
- Ensure the implementation of environmental, health, safety, and nutrition standards across educational and service facilities in line with national and international standards.
- Supervise the preparation and implementation of preventive, periodic, and emergency maintenance plans for educational buildings and facilities to ensure infrastructure sustainability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the provision of administrative services related to human resources procedures within the sector and provide technical and operational support to ensure efficient operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and quality standards related to operational management and information protection, including the implementation of cybersecurity requirements and effective internal and external institutional communication.
- Perform any other duties related to the nature of the department s work or as assigned by the Assistant Undersecretary.
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in school support services.
- 6+ years of experience in multi-team management and leadership roles.
- Excellent leadership, program management, and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Speaking, Reading & Writing (English & Arabic).
Desired Candidate Profile

A bachelor s or master s degree in business administration or within a relevant field.

This will eventually help in finding radical, sustainable solutions to the major issues, improving competitiveness, and supporting smart government in its attempts to keep pace with global advancements, advance education, and push it to broad horizons of excellence, leadership, and competitiveness.
