Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed ELV system shop drawings (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Structured Cabling, BGM, etc.) based on approved design drawings and site requirements.
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, consultant standards, and authority regulations.
  • Coordinate ELV layouts with architectural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting drawings.
  • Identify and resolve clashes using coordination drawings or BIM models (if applicable).
  • Update and finalize as-built drawings after installation completion, reflecting all site changes accurately.
  • Prepare and update system schematics, single-line diagrams, and riser diagrams for all ELV systems.
  • Incorporate device locations, tagging, and equipment schedules into drawings.
  • Coordinate with procurement and site teams for equipment placement and installation details.
  • Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments.
  • Maintain drawing logs and revision records for all submissions.
  • Ensure all designs follow international and local standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, ISO, or local authority codes).
  • Follow company CAD/BIM standards and drawing templates.
  • Work closely with ELV/Design Engineers for design intent, revisions, and system updates.
