Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement technical functionalities for the e-commerce site.
- Ensure regular site maintenance, by quickly identifying and resolving technical problems.
- Collaborating with the marketing and design teams to integrate new functionalities and improve the site's ergonomics.
- Optimize site performance in terms of speed, usability and SEO.
- Ensure site security by implementing measures to protect against online threats.
- Perform regular tests to ensure code quality and compatibility with different browsers.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technological developments in the field of e-commerce.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce.
- In-depth knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and web ergonomics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and understand business needs. Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Sense of organization and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of best practices in website security.
- Significant professional experience (minimum 2-5 years) in web development, including some experience in an e-commerce environment.
- Degree in computer science (Bachelor's +3 or Bachelor's +5), web development or in a related field.
- Excellent mastery of web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated frameworks.
