Electrical Engineer

The role covers both site execution and technical office tasks, including shop drawings, quantities, coordination, and documentation. Hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.

- Responsibilities :-

• Supervise electrical works (power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, cable trays & routing).
• Review IFC/approved drawings and ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and low-current teams to avoid clashes.
• Inspect materials and workmanship; raise and close NCRs with QA/QC when needed.
• Prepare/attend inspections with consultant (IRs/MIRs).
• Support testing & commissioning activities Prepare/review shop drawings and as-built drawings on AutoCAD.
• Extract quantities and prepare BOQ and take-offs.
• Issue RFIs for design clarifications handle submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations and technical compliance.
• Update logs (drawings, RFIs, submittals) and support monthly progress reports.
• Maintain daily/weekly reports, snag lists, and site correspondences.
• Track material deliveries, manpower, and work progress versus plan.
• Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed.br

• Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power).
• 1 3 years in general contracting ( site + technical office exposure).
• Solid knowledge of power systems: distribution boards, cables, LV panels, lighting, earthing & lightning.
• Hands-on AutoCAD (shop drawing /as-built drawing).
• Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); basic scheduling on Excel or MS Project is a plus.
• Familiarity with: IFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, RFIs, material submittals.
• Ability to read specs and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
