Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Medium Voltage Electrician /strong>

  • Diploma or Trade Certificate from an approved vocational training center or two (2) year apprenticeship in related field. Shall have 3 years experience in related field. Must have experience in installation and maintenance of electrical distribution and lighting systems in buildings and facilities, three phase and single phase up to 1000 volts, and the installation, overhaul, repair and maintenance of all types of motors and generators up to 600KVA and can perform load test. Must be able to trouble shoot, diagnose, repair and maintain emergency generators and other electrical equipment and can read and understand maintenance manuals and drawings. Must have experience in electrical preventive maintenance (PM), basic load calculation and load balancing, panel boards, overcurrent protection and ground fault detection equipment, arc flash prevention and electrical safety. Must be conversant with US National Electrical Code (NEC).

Electrician (Building Trades)/strong>

  • Diploma or Trade Certificate from an approved vocational training center or two (2) year apprenticeship in related field. Shall have 3 years experience in related field. Must have experience in installation and maintenance of electrical distribution and lighting systems in buildings, three phase and single phase up to 240 volts. Must be able to trouble shoot, diagnose, repair and maintain electrically powered equipment and can read and understand maintenance manuals and drawings. Must have experience in electrical preventive maintenance (PM), basic load calcu/strong>lation and load balancing, panel boards, overcurrent protection and ground fault detection equipment, arc flash prevention and electrical safety. Having US National Electrical Code (NEC).would be beneficial.
