Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Source and evaluate vendors for engineering-related materials, equipment, and services, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgetary constraints.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, leveraging market knowledge and volume purchasing power to secure favorable terms.
Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery, including order placement, tracking, and expediting to meet project timelines.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements, provide sourcing solutions, and resolve any technical discrepancies.
Good knowledge in SAP ERP software
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar.
- Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in procurement within the engineering or construction industries.
- Exhibits strong knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, and technical specifications.
