Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory environmental requirements. Implement and monitor the environmental management system (e.g., ISO 14001 standard). Identify and assess the environmental aspects and impacts of the company's activities. Monitor waste management (sorting, storage, collection, and disposal). Control industrial discharges (wastewater, atmospheric emissions, noise pollution, etc.). Participate in the management of environmental emergencies (spills, accidental pollution, etc.). Raise awareness and train staff on good environmental practices. Conduct environmental audits and inspections. Develop and monitor environmental performance indicators. Prepare reports and declarations for the relevant authorities. Monitor service providers responsible for waste treatment and other environmental activities. Participate in projects aimed at reducing water, energy and raw material consumption. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's environmental performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Training in the field. Two years' experience in a similar position is an asset. Knowledge of environmental regulations. Mastery of HSE and ISO 14001 standards. Analytical, auditing, and report-writing skills. Organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in IT and reporting tools.
