Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
About the role
Lead/Manage the Project Teams, including other internal stakeholders such as Development, Commercial and Operations etc.
Lead/Manage projects and processes related with them.
Lead/Manage/Coordinate all external project parties including lead consultants, PMC, authorities, contractors, vendors, operators, licensors etc.
Plan and coordinate project activities to ensure delivery within budget, on time and within HSE requirements.
Responsible for smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with other departments, define the scope of project, acceptable timeframe for project delivery and create project plan.
In collaboration with other departments, identify resources required to complete project (time, funds, personnel/consultancies, procure cost management services and develop high level project budget for approval by senior management.
In collaboration with other departments, recommend and establish procurement route and produce project development program.
Support in the procurement of design team by mapping out roles and responsibilities, identifying and seeking out suitable consultants and make recommendation to line senior management for appointment of consultants.
Support in the management of design development: concept, schematic detailed phases obtaining sign off at each stage from executive management (and stakeholders if required).
Support in the management of cost planning in alignment with design phases ensuring that costs are kept within project budget by means of value engineering if required.
Support the tender process, including identifying contractors, managing interviews with selected Contractors, reviewing tender documents, issuing contract to selected Contractor and ensuring all required parties sign and stamp the documents.
Lead the Construction process ensuring regular and accurate reporting from the project delivery teams.
Lead the post contract provision sum procurement process, with support from the commercial department.
Ensure that processes and procedures are followed and that the delivery teams are controlling and managing the Contractor/s in a professional and efficient manner.
Lead all post contract design and technical coordination issues and ensure quick resolution in order to progress the works.
Lead all EPC contracts (e.g. ride vendors) from contract award, through design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and integration.
Lead all specialist consultant / vendor packages (executive producers, media production, show vendors, etc) from contract award through to completion.
Lead post contract stakeholder management / dispute resolution with contractors, consultants, IP holders, operations teams, internal departments, local authorities, etc.
Manage all handover processes including procedure for closing out the project, conclusion of the contract and agreement of the final account.
Lead defects and liability period in conjunction with the operations teams and ensure all parties report, react and respond in accordance with their obligations under the contract.
Manage direct reports to ensure the project goals are objectives are being met.
Provide mentoring and guidance to direct reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
10 15 years of experience in project management in a company with annual revenue of at least AED 2 billion with experience of managing construction for developments with CAPEX 3 4 billion AED.
Strong knowledge and exposure to the real estate market with min 10 years experience in G.C.C.
HSE champion with a proven track record 2% safety incidents.
Bachelor s degree or Post Graduate degree in engineering.
