Job PurposeJoin our Group Security team, where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. With opportunities across various specialized units, you will gain exposure and contribute to cutting-edge security practices.The Facilities Protection Controller is responsible for protecting Emirates Group's commercial and residential properties across the UAE by directing preventive security initiatives, ensuring timely incident response, and maintaining collaboration with stakeholders to uphold strong security standards and operational effectiveness.In This Role You WillManage all security related activities, organise, direct, monitor, and supervise the security team within the designated area of responsibility to ensure effective coordination and operational control.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate security manpower is deployed across all commercial and residential facilities, in alignment with the Group Security's vision and mission.Manage and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of resource allocation and administrative processes for all security personnel assigned to commercial and residential sites.Manage the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of security policies, procedures, and practices to ensure alignment with organisational objectives, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution across daily operations.Liaise with local authorities to implement crime prevention measures, including neighbourhood watch programs, in areas where commercial and residential facilities are located.Lead, develop, and manage the facilities protection team by Providing coaching, ensure necessary training, conduct regular performance evaluations, and promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional growth.Manage and conduct risk assessments for newly acquired properties and planned events to ensure compliance with established security standards. Oversee the full scope of event security operations, including security planning, incident reporting, crowd and traffic control, access control, on site supervision, data analysis, and post-event evaluations.Monitor and analyse security related trends affecting facilities protection of commercial and residential and provide strategic recommendations to improve processes and mitigate risks.QualificationTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:Completed Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Security (General).Strong knowledge of technology and systems, including planning, budgeting, and problem-solving.Skilled in influencing and negotiation to drive outcomes and gain stakeholder alignment.Demonstrated ability in project planning and operational coordination.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement.Proven leadership qualities with the ability to guide, motivate, and manage teams effectively.Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
