About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Reservations department in Dubai, the F&B Reservations Agent is responsible for all customer reservations and queries received via telephone or emails for restaurant outlets. The role is the key point of contact for managing dining reservations across the Hotel s restaurant and bar outlets while making sure each booking is entered into the system following Mandarin Oriental data and quality standards. F&B Reservations Agent reports to the F&B Reservations Supervisor.

As an F&B Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage all food and beverage reservations, ensuring accuracy and accommodating guest requests or changes as needed.
  • Provide personalised service through phone and email by responding to guest inquiries and enhancing their dining experience.
  • Support revenue goals by maximising booking conversions and promoting special events, menus, and offers.
  • Ensure timely processing of group and event bookings and smooth handover to the relevant team.
  • Maintain accurate customer database records while adhering to IT security and compliance policies.
  • Stay updated through training, remain flexible with shift patterns, and carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

As An F&B Reservations Agent, We Expect From You

  • 1 2 years of experience in high-end customer service, with direct interaction via phone or in person.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous and professional approach toward guests and colleagues.
  • Proficient in reservation/table management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations and awareness of dining trends is beneficial.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
